چکیده

Abstract Authors propose a beneficial methodology for hydrological planning in their study. Prospective evaluations of the basins’ net capacity can be done using technique presented. The HEC-HMS (Hydrologic Modelling System) software used to estimate basin, sediment emitted. For certain precipitation, this allows estimating, within range, gradual blockage reservoir, and even projected date total blockage. This has some applications adopt corrective measures that prevent or delay planned deadlines. model is semi-distributed type, estimating generation emission sediments by sub-basins. integration different return periods with sub-basins application mathematical are differentiating element research. novelty work allow prognosing reservoir sedimentation rate basins local regional scale medium large temporary framework. developed public institutions take decisions concerning planning. It been applied case “Charco Redondo” Cádiz, Andalusia, southern Spain. Applying case, an average soil degradation basin estimated. Therefore, it verified 50 years expected lose 8.4% its capacity.

Hydrologic Modeling System (hec-hms):

Many cities have been built along large rivers. The rivers can provide a source of drinking water, act as receiving water for treated effluent, provide navigation for shipping, and other beneficial uses. However, the city must also be protected from flooding due to the close proximity to the river. Hydrologic analysis plays a crucial role in the development of plans for protecting a river city....

MAS Methodology for HMS

Developments in Holonic Manufacturing Systems (HMS) have been reported in three main areas: architectures, algorithms, and methodologies for HMS. Despite the advancements obtained in the first two areas the methodologies for HMS have not received great attention. To date, many of the developments in HMS have been conducted in an almost “empirical way”, without design methodology. There is a def...

On the Clark Unit Hydrograph Model of HEC-HMS

A mathematically correct form of the linear storage element’s routing equation is specified requiring only a slight modification of the existing HEC-HMS routine. The new formulation, unlike the current version in use, is unconditionally stable as long as the time step and the storage coefficient values are trivially specified as positive numbers.

Use of HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS models with ArcView for hydrologic risk management

The paper discusses how the well known USACE HEC models, RAS and HMS, are fully integrated within the decision support system of the Romagna River Basins in order to predict flood effects. The models are fully available from the web and cope with such a variety of problems as rainfall-runoff modeling, river and civil works hydraulics, and the mapping of hydraulic hazard. The paper illustrates t...

Filling-Based Techniques Applied to Object Projection Feature Estimation

3D motion tracking is a critical task in many computer vision applications. Unsupervised markerless 3D motion tracking systems determine the most relevant object in the screen and then track it by continuously estimating its projection features (center and area) from the edge image and a point inside the relevant object projection (namely, inner point), until the tracking fails. Existing object...
